Abstract:
artesnetEurope is the ERASMUS Thematic Network for Higher Arts Education. Between 2007 and 2010, it brought together professionals from all around Europe to share experience and best practice, and conduct research on new developments in the sector.
This resulted in the handbook Peer Power! The Future of Higher Arts Education in Europe, which presents:
1. Case studies of creative partnerships between art schools and external partners
2. A new working methodology for quality assurance and enhancement
3. An overview and bibliography of research in the arts
4. Papers from the Teachers' Academy, Sofia, 1-4 July 2009
Project objectives:
artesnetEurope was led by the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts, Bulgaria, in collaboration with ELIA.
68 art academies and cultural institutions took part.
It has organised its work in three strands:
